What makes a good process?

In this talk, we’ll explain the how, what, and why of a good process and offer ways of thinking about defining and building processes. We’ll also discuss how to build in inclusion from the start.

Speakers: Adrienne Lowe

August 25, 2020

In this talk, we’ll explain what makes a good process and think about how you build processes, how you define them, and importantly why you need them. We’ll also think about how to make sure that inclusion is built early into the creation of a process.

Personal reflection

After watching the talk, take a few minutes to think about the following:

How do folks on your team view “process”? Is it largely negative, positive, or mixed?

Optional: If attitudes are negative, what do you think is causing it (e.g. management or leadership issues like misalignment, poor communication, low visibility, missing documentation)? If attitudes are negative, how do you plan to remediate?
