Derek Stapleton

Derek is a Senior Software Engineering Team Lead at Speedway Motors. He has been with Speedway for 10 years, starting as an intern. He leads a team that is primarily responsible for organic acquisition of new customers and enhancing product discoverability. In the automotive space, it can be challenging for customers to know which products fit their specific vehicle. He also have a passion for performance engineering and prides himself in making the slow fast. In his free time he likes to climb 14er’s, snowboard, and hang out with his two Pomeranians Finn and Ruby.
