‘Learning in the flow of work’ is a term coined a few years ago by Josh Bersin to describe hyper relevant micro-learning that does not interrupt work (think: 1 hour video on pivot tables rather than 1 day module on excel reports).

In this paradigm, professional learning gets closer to the actual goals of organisations and the needs of teams in the moment that the new skills are required.

In this talk, Hywel Carver will discuss the difference between learning knowledge (well catered for), and learning skills and wisdom (often ignored), and how each can be achieved in the flow of work, but with very different approaches.
