James Alexander

James Alexander is a Lead Engineer at ITVX, the UK’s fastest-growing streaming service, helping shape the architecture and delivery of its platform for over 45 million users. With more than two decades in software engineering, he focuses on building resilient systems and improving collaboration at scale. His recent work spans subscriptions, payments, and Minimum Viable Company initiatives. He promotes experimentation through A/B testing and Long Term Holdout Groups and leads on compliance, setting standards and guidance across ITV. James champions ITV’s neurodiversity network and working class group, and enjoys mentoring and supporting students and colleagues to achieve their potential.
