Daniela Kinsella is a Principal Engineer at The New York Times, where she leads AI business automation as an enterprise engineering discipline. She architected a Times’ production agentic AI platform on AWS Bedrock and AgentCore, powering workflows across the newsroom and business desks, and delivered agentic engineering training to more than 600 engineers.
With nearly 30 years in software engineering, Daniela previously founded and ran a web agency in Berlin, co-founded a facial-recognition startup in New York, and served as Tech Lead at Patch.com. She speaks agentic engineering, AI platform architecture, and safe enterprise AI adoption.
