Ashley Griffin

Ashley Griffin is an engineering leader based in Greater Philadelphia, where she leads a team building data intensive systems that support complex insurance workflows. Her career spans more than a decade in software, from distributed systems work at Vanguard to engineering leadership across healthtech and insurtech. Those experiences have shaped her belief that the strongest technical outcomes come from teams where people feel safe to speak up, challenge ideas, make decisions, and grow. Ashley holds an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where she also serves as an Instructional Associate for a graduate Human-Computer Interaction course, and a BS in Computer Science from Haverford College. Recognized in Technical.ly’s RealLIST Engineers 2023, she speaks on inclusive engineering culture, psychological safety, and building the kind of teams engineers don’t want to leave
