Do you have a Code of Conduct?<\/strong>

Absolutely, we take our Code of Conduct very seriously. You can read in full\u00a0here<\/a>. All conference participants are expected to be respectful towards other attendees, speakers, organizers, and staff, in-person and online.\u00a0You can find reporting and enforcement processes at the link above. For reporting concerns at the event itself, the LeadDev team can be identified by pink t-shirts with \u2018Organiser\u2019 printed on the back.<\/p> <\/div>

Where is the conference?<\/strong>

What time should I arrive?<\/strong>

Registration for LeadDev Berlin will open around 8.00 am on November 5.The first session for each conference will start between 9.00am and 9.30am.<\/p> <\/div>

What happens if I\u2019m running late?<\/strong>

Don’t worry if you are running late. Our staff will stay at the registration desk for most of the morning. We\u2019ll let you slip into the auditorium quietly once we’ve given you your name badge.<\/p> <\/div>

Will food be provided?<\/strong>

Yes! A lunch is provided, plus tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. Tea, coffee, and light breakfast refreshments will be available in the morning before the first session. Catering will be served in line with current COVID guidelines and there will be additional spaces to sit and eat.<\/p> <\/div>

Will you cater for my special dietary requirements?<\/strong>

Yes! There will be a vegan option available during lunch. If you have any allergies or other requirements (e.g. gluten-free, Halal, Kosher) just let us know by emailing\u00a0hello@leaddev.com<\/a>. During the conference, if you have requested a special meal other than vegan, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you.<\/p> <\/div>

Is the venue accessible?<\/strong>

The venue is wheelchair accessible and we\u2019ll be providing real-time audio captioning for all talks. Please do let us know about any access requirements that you have, if you haven\u2019t already, by emailing\u00a0hello@leaddev.com<\/a>. It\u2019s no trouble at all, we just need some advance notice to make sure we offer you the best experience.<\/p> <\/div>

Do I need to bring anything?<\/strong>

Just show your ticket containing your QR code either printed or on your smartphone to our registration staff and they\u2019ll provide you with your conference pass.<\/p> <\/div>

Does the conference venue have wifi?<\/strong>

Absolutely, you can find details on your conference badge.<\/p> <\/div>

Are you recording the conference?<\/strong>

Yes! We\u2019re all the talks except for the interactive sessions will be recorded and we will send you the links to the videos soon after the conference, once they\u2019ve been edited. You can also find presentation slides in the conference attendee video hub, if they have been made available by the speaker.\u00a0Our photographer will be capturing moments throughout the conference. If you don’t want to be included in published photographs, please pick up a yellow lanyard at registration.<\/p> <\/div>

What time does everything finish?<\/strong>

LeadingEng will finish around 5:30 pm, followed by a happy hour until 7pm.Check out the schedule for up-to-date timings.<\/p> <\/div>

Are there hotels nearby you would recommend?<\/strong>

If you’re planning on staying in a hotel for the conference, we recommend the Estrel Hotel Berlin.\u00a0To book, please use the following\u00a0booking link<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to make a reservation at our special rate, whilst availability lasts.<\/p> <\/div>

Is there a\u00a0happy hour or networking event?<\/strong>

Yes, there will be a happy hour held in the venue from 5:30 \u2013 7.30pm after the programme.<\/p> <\/div>

What is the barcode on my badge?<\/strong>

At the conference, you’ll notice there\u2019s a barcode on your delegate badge. Our sponsors may request your permission to scan your badge so they can get in touch with you after the conference to discuss their products and services.\u00a0If you agree, the sponsor will receive the following information (if provided when registering your conference ticket): your name, email address, job role, company, company sector, company size and country. By allowing our sponsor to scan your badge, you are giving them permission to request this information from us. Please note, we will not give your details to a sponsor unless you approve the request. You can unsubscribe from any communications you receive.<\/p> <\/div>

Are there any extra sessions?<\/strong>

Are there nursing and praying facilities provided at the conference?<\/strong>

Nursing room<\/strong>We have a dedicated private, lockable room at the event venue for anyone requiring a place to express or feed during the event. Please just ask a member of staff in a pink T-shirt for directions.\u00a0Is there a space to pray at the venue?\u00a0<\/strong>We have a prayer room on site for anyone who wishes to pray or meditate during the conference. Please ask a member of staff in a pink t-shirt for more information and location.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>

Can I attend if I’m an engineering manager or tech lead?<\/strong>

This event is specifically for senior engineering leaders only – you must be a manager of managers to attend. We review all tickets to check delegates meet the\u00a0eligibility criteria<\/a>. We will issue a refund if you purchase a ticket and you do not meet these criteria.<\/p> <\/div>

I sometimes find events overwhelming, is there a space away from crowds?<\/strong>
